Wedding Shoes and Smiles

Last month I was able to share in the joy that was my sister's wedding.  As I was part of the bridal party, I wasn't able to take wedding photographs, but I did manage a few snaps of her and her daughter (Ava) after the ceremony.  Having witnessed Ava in her mom's closet,  I had already warned my sister that she was going to be a shoe girl!  

Predictably unpredictable, the weather in Colorado in May kept us guessing.  It snowed heavily up until the day before the wedding, when the sun took over.  It was a perfect Spring Day for new beginnings...

These photos are truly some of my favorite from my wedding. They were spontaneous, happy and fun - I love them! I am afraid I do have a shoe girl - she loves to play in my shoe closet!
